Requesting Home Visits

Please make requests for home visits only when the patient, through illness, is unable to attend the surgery.  Visits are usually undertaken after the morning or evening surgery unless they are for emergencies.

We would appreciate it if, wherever possible, requests for home visits are made as soon as possible in the morning.

How to arrange a consultation over the telephone

It is possible to book a telephone consultation appointment with the doctor for advice and the GP will endeavour to contact you at some point during the morning or afternoon on the date it has been requested or booked.

All medically urgent phone calls will be dealt with by the Duty Doctor, please do not request a phone call if it can wait until your preferred or regular GP is available.
