NHS Kernow has teamed up with the Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Applications (ORCHA) to create this health apps library website for residents of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The shared aim is to make it quick and easy to find safe, approved health and wellbeing apps which can make a real difference to people’s lives.

Health apps are a great way to give people information that will benefit them and their communities. They can help with managing health issues, such as mental health or respiratory conditions. And they can help people to live healthier, happier lives through exercise and healthy living. There are thousands of health apps to choose from. And with the COVID-19 pandemic, demand is greater than ever.

Smoking Cessation

If you want to quit smoking, we are here to help you every step of the way. Patients do not need to be referred by a GP - you can contact our reception team and make an appointment with Kathy James or Jackie Slater from our Nursing Team.

We can give advice and information on the benefits of stopping smoking, as well as explaining the potential damage to your health. We will offer help and support along the way and we will also advise you on choosing the most helpful aids to support you in stopping.

If you have any questions or need further advice please ask for Kathy or Jackie - and if this is new to you - come to the front desk and register for the next course as places are limited.
