PLEASE NOTE WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO ADMINISTER TRAVEL VACCINATIONS IF THE REQUEST IS LESS THAN 10 WEEKS IN ADVANCE
Are you planning a trip abroad?
Please contact us well in advance, at least 10 weeks before your date of travel. Some vaccines require more than one injection and your last appointment should be two weeks before travel to ensure effective immunity.
What is the process?
Please visit - www.travelhealthpro.org.uk
Enter your destination details and this will give you up to date travel health advice for that location including recommended vaccinations and if malaria protection is advised.
Complete the online questionnaire
Please enter all countries to be visited and details of the vaccines you think you might need.
If you have details of previous vaccines please enter these too.
Travel Questionnaire
Next steps
One of our nurses will be in touch to discuss your questionnaire and book an appointment.
We will try to get back to you as soon as we can, but this service is extra to our NHS workload.
If you are travelling at short notice we are unable to guarantee an appointment; there are private travel health service providers who might be able to help.
Costs
Some vaccines are given free as part of the NHS service.
Currently these are:-
Polio (combined vaccine with diphtheria and tetanus), Typhoid, hepatitis A and Cholera
Other vaccines and anti-malarial pills will incur a cost which must be paid for on ordering.
Please note - Yellow Fever Vaccinations
We are not a yellow fever centre and so cannot provide this vaccine. There are other NHS and private services who offer this locally.
