With the new location comes new opportunities and we are very pleased that Amy Bromfield is going to be holding cooking demonstrations using the kitchen facilities at the main hall. This will be really useful and lots of fun so if you wish to book a place please speak to Kathy or Jackie.
Cornwall Heathy Weight works throughout Cornwall encouraging people to become more physically active in their daily lives.
The project supports two target age groups, older people (50+) and younger people (11-16 yrs). They are a team of 'Activators' who will form a point of contact for local people living in Cornwall who wish to become more physically active.
Why Get Active?
Exercise gives you physical benefits like reduced blood pressure, weight loss and improved flexibility. It also brings psychological benefits such as 'I feel better in myself' or 'I don't get so tired'. Click on the website address to find out more how LEAP can benefit you and your family.
